A PWA cannot guarantee GPS updates while locked. Service workers cannot access the browser Geolocation API. The test logs pauses and resume events rather than fabricating background readings.

Installation & testing

Upload the contents of this folder to https://pisteagain.com/gpstest/. Open that address in Android Chrome and use the Chrome menu → Install app (or Add to Home screen). Launch from the home-screen icon.

Run a 2-minute screen-on test, lock the phone for 5 minutes, unlock, wait 30 seconds, stop and export the CSV. Repeat with the wake-lock option enabled for a screen-on comparison.

GPS requires HTTPS, user permission and location services enabled. No positions are sent to a server. Clearing site data will delete any unexported log.
